We are members of the body of Christ

1Corinthians 12:12(NLT)
The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the Body of Christ.

As believers in Christ Jesus, we all belong to a big and divine family.
Do you know that there are over two billion Christians worldwide?
Not every Christian may be living according to God’s expectation, but I am still excited about the huge number of people that are associated with Jesus.
I am excited about this fact, and I hope you are too.
As members of this fabulous family we ought to take our roles and responsibilities seriously.
This is because it is a privilege and not a right to be a child of God. It is by his grace and mercy that have conferred this glorious sonship on us.
This heritage came with a heavy price, paid by the son of God, who died a painful death on the cross Calvary.
His sacrifice paved the way for our salvation, deliverance, prosperity and hope of eternity in heaven.
Therefore we ought to be dead to the things of the world.
Our actions and reactions should display our heavenly origin and destination.
Our goals and ideals ought to more divine than mundane as we mirror the mind of Christ in our daily dealings with others.
This is only possible when we yield to the promptings and guidance of the Holy Spirit, who is our Helper.
My beloved friends, we really need to submit to the lordship of Jesus Christ, who is the head of the church.
Our words and deeds should exemplify this.
It takes conscious and intentional walk with Him to make this achievable, because several factors contend with this resolve. The greatest pressure comes from our innate desires and ambitions.
Therefore we need to remember always that we belong to Christ in word and deed too!
My friends, kindly join me to choose to become more committed to advancing unity and love in our homes, churches and society.
Today we need to be intentional in building up one another through compassion and service, in order to advance unity and progress in local assemblies and ultimately the church universal.

Prayer
Father, thank you for your love that saved me and grafted me into the body of Christ.
Lord please help me to humbly and lovingly walk with fellow believers for the kingdom’s sake in Jesus name.🙏🏼
