Meet Nwando Okpaleke, Airpeace pilot, who landed plane in Anambra

The aviation industry is not very popular among women.

Only few brave ladies venture into this fiery sector.

Miss Nwando Okpaleke is one of such rare and courageous females.

She has been rocking the social media, since the news that she co-piloted and successfully landed  the Air Peace aircraft, at Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport at Umueri on Friday, 30th April, 2021 during the test-run.

She is from Azia in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The young pilot is a Computer Science graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University in Ghana.

She later trained at an air school in South Africa where she was certified to fly commercial aeroplanes.
