The benefits of showing gratitude

Be positively vocal!

When you appreciate the efforts of a friend, a co-worker, or a spouse for that matter, be expressive or passionate in your appreciation.

Do not be stingy with your praise!

I read an article on human psychology that many individuals, naturally, tend to dwell more on negative thoughts than the positive. One is more, likely to remember a hurt than a good deed. Therefore, we need to be intentional in celebrating a good deed.

My beloved brother and sister my advice is this. Do not just gloss over any gesture from another person! Wise words satisfy like a good meal. Right words bring satisfaction. This is clearly stated in Proverbs 18:20 NLT.

Shalom and thanks for reading.

I look forward to your response and feedback.
